Orbs
Over in the Garden, Margaret challenged us with Orbs. Deborah Glessner is the artist- her photographic orbs are filled with wonder! You can see more of Deborah's work at her website, "Lark Photography". Thank you Margaret for sharing her visions with us! I am intrigued~
Charcoal gray flutters
of night disappear
golden flower opens
wild wings peer
ring of feathers swirl
chasing day's kite strings
in search of
burgeoning blue
Golden goose goodnight kiss
before sister swan opens star
umbrella
covers Lunar's crown
Heaven's wedding ring
circles Earth's trees
spatial stories speak volumes
of hidden affairs
ripples in their union
passionate PDA seen in fire n' ice
Pine, Big Red and Oak
surrender to Mother Nature's
epic moods
Bough brothers bend in Warrior pose
towards her hair
saluting her spirit
Namaste

heavens wedding ring...that is cool...the spatial stories speaking...the warrior pase saluting...that second one is just gorgeous ella...very well played...i like that you wrote them long form as well, to me it accentuates the swirl in the image...
ReplyDeleteOh wow. I, too, love "heaven's wedding ring" and the Warrior pose - saluting her spirit. Namaste. Glorious writing, Ellie.
ReplyDeleteI thought of you, Sherry and our wondrous chakra tree poem! ;D
DeleteThank you
So interesting to read your descriptions as a stream of consciousness - so many beautiful word pictures.
ReplyDeleteThank you Kerry! It wasn't my intention, but sometimes happy accidents work?! ;D
DeleteIf only the trees could tell of those hidden affairs!
ReplyDeleteHi Robyn, if only trees could talk! Well, I guess they kind of do with their tree circles telling us the history of long ago. Science is amazing!

Love the run together lines of your poem ... gave me the feeling of endless energy, endless knowledge ... endless everything.
ReplyDeleteA beautiful tale of lunar crown and heaven's wedding rings ~ I enjoyed the salute to nature's epic spirit ~
ReplyDeleteWas a bit thrown off at first by the format - but then went back and read it like done big sigh and just let it sink in (it worked :)
ReplyDeleteheaven's wedding ring is beautiful as is this whole nod to nature's "balm".
I like the first one, with the birds!
ReplyDeleteKerry mentioned stream of consciousness and that's the way it seems to me, too, your impressions and feelings about the orbs spilling from you in a stream. Very nicely done, Ella.
ReplyDeleteLuv, K
so much hidden here and exposed in your verses!
ReplyDeleteAh! nature and cycle of life..........go hand in hand
