Over in the Garden

Flights of fancy
kiss tender blooms
landing on carpet of chamomile
Lemon verbena opens spring's door
as fleurs of peppermint
scent  harmonious wind
swept away
in serenity's weightless
up draft
steeped memories
coax spritely
dance
every day at 3pm

I'm not sure if I can keep up with
NaPoWriMo , but I can try...
I'm doing the A-Z Blogging challenge. Blog the alphabet in the month of April-six days a week, with Sundays off.

Hannah's challenge was to write a poem about

Tall Blonde
gracefully glides
long legs forward
she bends and swoops
sun salutations
up dog
down dog
tree pose her favorite
even toed temperament
her Alice curiosity
beguiles and enchants
she spots a beautiful pant suit
you can't miss her
model stance

This is my  poem for
April, Come she will...( I love that song by Simon n' Garfunkel)

 April you fool
enchant with pink confetti
 a symphony of bees
then you smirk
n' shock me an Alaska kiss
your sweetness like peppermint
You tease
mean Calendar girl
always flirting
 batting your
lashes of wonder
you please me when
watercolored rain
arrives
your colorful smile
comes into view
and my lemon boots dance~

I'll be by poets, to play catch up...

    1. I mix it up! The tea I shared was Calm, but I usually have Zen a Tazo blend. I love to ice Oolong) Tazo's Joy tea is my fav-hard to find, so I make my own. I blend black, green and oolong tea and ice it. I posted about it awhile back...

  7. "swept away
    in serenity's weightless
up draft" is beautiful in your first poem, Ella, and
    "Tall Blonde
    gracefully glides
long legs forward" is enchanting in the second
but "watercolored rain" is too, too wonderful in the third!
